Biography

Pat Jensen holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in addition to his BS from OSU. With more than 13 years experience in the medical device industry, he has commercialized numerous medical technologies from within academic research environments. He is currently the Managing Director of both Trio Medical LLC and Trio Associates LLC. In 1999, Jensen was awarded the MIT TR100 Award, an award given to 100 of the most innovative technologists worldwide under the age of 35. He was also a Thrust Leader for the Computer Integrated Surgery and Surgical Technology Center at Johns Hopkins, a center aimed at incorporating robotic, computer, and visualization technologies into the operating room.
